The pandemic deeply impacted students who could no longer gather to celebrate their graduation. El Segundo High School approached us in 2020 with an ask: how can we honor our senior class in a grand but socially-distanced way?
Jeff Cason Designs created a projection mapped spectacular and graduation roll call, where we mapped an 80’ tall bell tower with the graduate’s photos, along with a high-energy opener and finale, all set to a musical score. The show was filmed and broadcast to hundreds of families at home.
The following year, students were able to gather, but only outdoors. So we were asked back — and told to go even bigger! We produced a similar spectacular for the graduating class, but with additional segments and a spectacular fireworks finale.
