El Segundo Water Tower Installation
The City of El Segundo came to us in 2020 with a challenge: “in this season of social distancing, how can we celebrate the moments that make our community special?”
We determined that the water tower, the most visible beacon in the community, would be the perfect canvas for a light installation that would let the community’s colors shine.
In 2021 we designed a permanent LED installation that illuminated the 80’ tower, with multiple lighting looks that would celebrate holidays including 4th of July, the winter holidays, team colors, and special events—all controllable by an iPad.
