Project Summary
Jeff Cason Designs partnered with Daybreak Church to reimagine their annual Christmas Eve services through a fully immersive visual experience. Using over 12,000 square feet of synchronized projection mapping, lighting, and show control, the sanctuary was transformed into a cinematic environment that surrounded guests with the story of Christmas.
Designed to support the event—not distract from it—the experience blended storytelling, architecture, and technology into a memorable Christmas Eve celebration that concluded with an interactive indoor snowfall.
The Challenge
Create a Christmas Eve experience that felt larger than a traditional church service while preserving the emotional heart of the evening. Every creative decision needed to enhance the story, draw guests into the experience, and seamlessly integrate with live music, worship, and production.
Creative Approach
Rather than treating projection as a backdrop, the entire room became part of the story.
Custom content wrapped the sanctuary in over 12,000 square feet of synchronized imagery, allowing every guest to experience the Christmas narrative as it unfolded around them. Music, lighting, projection, and show control were precisely synchronized to create one cohesive theatrical experience, culminating in an indoor snowfall celebration that invited the audience into the finale.
